Your yard keeps your house from sinking into some dark abyss. It's where you let your dog out to take care of business.

Let's face it, your lawn, yard, grass, whatever you call it, is pretty cool. It smells good when it gets cut. It feels good to walk barefoot across. It looks pretty in the fall when the first frost settles in. Plus, it's got that whole environmental thing going for it.

The only thing all that lovely green asks from you is a little care, a little patience, and to be fed and groomed occasionally. Pretty much what your kids ask of you, except you'll never have to set up a college fund for your grass.

Our main goal at Royal Greens is to take the drudgery out of making the most of your lawn. In return, you'll receive a lawn that will give you many hours of enjoyment and improve the way your entire home is viewed by your neighbors.

We offer two programs that will cover most homeowners needs, plus we offer several additional services designed to solve specific lawn problems that may not affect all lawns in our area. You choose which services are best suited for your lawn and landscape.

Our basic lawn care program includes numerous fertilizer applications throughout the growing season, applied at the right times of the year to ensure that your lawn is getting the right nutrients at the right time and in the amounts. The basic program also includes special crabgrass controls to prevent this invasive weed from taking hold. This special preventive application works throughout most of the growing season to ensure your lawn is free of this big nuisance.

Because much of our local soil is highly acidic, we also include an application of calcium limestone, more commonly called Lime to help balance the the soil's pH levels that make the soil more conducive to growing healthy lawn plants.

We also apply selective insect controls throughout the year as needed, designed to control above ground destructive turf damaging insects such as chinchbugs and sodwebworms.

This is our basic program. For a little more, you can have all the benefits of the basic program, but also receive a core aeration treatment either in the fall or spring that will help control thatch buildup and relieve soil compaction.
