We believe all great lawns start from the soil up. That is why all Royal Greens specially blended fertilizers start with an organic base. We feel the six applications from our Essential Care Program are the six essential treatments all lawns need. However, not all lawns or customer’s expectations are the same. From our Essential Care Program, we can customize a lawn care program to fit you and your lawn’s needs. Below is a list of optional services we offer to customize a program for you. |
Organic Boost: This treatment is a 100% organic material designed to work in synergy with our Essential Care Program. The material is packed full of essential micro-nutrients, humic acids, bio-stimulants, beneficial bacteria, key enzymes and other elements to replenish your soil. This organic matter also unlocks the nutrients that are already in your soil thus greatly improving your soil. The net effect is that your soil is healthier therefore your grass will be healthier.
Core Aeration: Core aeration is a process that extracts cores (or plugs) of soil from your lawn. It is beneficial in many ways. It helps alleviate soil compaction, reduces thatch buildup, and allows for better air, water and nutrient flow down to the root system of the grass. This service is done throughout the season unless the customer has a preference on the scheduling.
Grub Control: This service is designed to prevent grubs from damaging your lawn. White grubs are the larva stage of several different beetles that feed on the root system of your grass causing severe damage. Prevention is the key. Once damage is observed, it is generally too late and reseeding or sodding is necessary to repair the damage.
Slit Seeding: Sometimes this service is referred to as slice or power seeding. Slit seeding is done using a machine with slicing knives that cut through the thatch and into the soil, creating furrows mixing the soil, thatch and seed along the way. Slit seeding provides proper seed-to-soil contact and results in a much better germination and growth rate than seed that is broadcast or spread by hand. We use only state certified blue tag turf type tall fescue seed blends.

This program is designed to protect the beauty of your landscape plants at a reasonable price. Often times the replacement cost of a single plant will exceed the annual cost of the entire program. Control materials will only be applied when there is a pest to be managed.
This policy exists to avoid the indiscriminate use of control materials. Each treatment includes a thorough inspection of all your plant material to determine the proper treatment. |
Deep Root Fertilization: This is a treatment where the fertilizer, micro-nutrients and bio-stimulants are actually injected into the root zone of your plants. The mixture of slow-release fertilizers and bio-stimulants will provide year long feeding.
Anti-Desiccant Spray: This spray is done in the late fall or early winter to help prevent your plants from drying out from the winter temperatures and winds. This is particularly beneficial if you have a lot of evergreens in your landscaping.
Tree Injections: This service is designed for large trees or specific need plants. We use a system called the wedgle direct inject. The advantage of this system is that we are able to inject the material just under the bark of the plant so we don’t have to drill holes causing permanent damage. We have a wide range of materials that we use from iron enriched fertilizers and insect and disease control to growth regulators. |

Perimeter Pest Control Program
This is a three treatment program designed to keep crawling insects such as ants, spiders, mites etc. out of your home. It works by setting up an invisible barrier around your house that insects won’t cross. The treatments are done in the spring, summer and fall.
Mosquito Control Program
This is a three treatment program designed to reduce the risk of mosquito bites by treating your property. We focus on the mosquito’s habitats and breading areas. Treatments are done in late spring, summer and early fall.
Flea and Tick Program
This program is designed to help keep fleas and ticks out of your landscape. Ticks carry many diseases such as Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever that not only affect pets but also humans. We recommend three treatments per season to achieve maximum control. |
